Nikki Gamble is the founder and Director of Just Imagine Story Centre. Formerly a teacher and lecturer in education, Nikki has been involved in reading promotion and development for over 30 years. She in an Honorary Fellow at the University of Winchester and is serving on the national committee of UKLA. Nikki is passionate about the teaching of reading and writing, with a particular focus on developing children's skills as they progress through the junior years. She is a consultant on the independent reading series, Treetops, and has advised on the Oxford University Press Bookmatch website.

Ruth Miskin OBE. has been an adviser to the government on many aspects of literacy teaching since 1997, from the early stages of the National Literacy Strategy’s Rose Review into the teaching of reading, the National Curriculum Review Committee and Lord Bew’s SATs Review Committee. One of the UK’s leading authorities on teaching reading and creator of the Read, Write, Inc. programmes, Ruth has many years’ experience as a Headteacher, teacher trainer and consultant in phonics and literacy, working with primary and secondary schools throughout the UK.

As a teacher for over 27 years, Gary Wilson has led award-winning campaigns, written several books and delivered training in hundreds of schools on the issue of raising boys’ achievement. Gary is a freelance consultant who talks about tracing under-achievement from pre-school to 16, and what we can do to prevent it. He explains how to interact with boys to optimise learning and overcoming barriers to achievement. Gary endorses the power of the whole-school approach to motivate boys to achieve their full potential.
