  • What Restorative Practice looks like at our school
  • The impacts and benefits of being a Restorative School
  • Proactive and Reactive Circles (and some of these in action)
  • Meeting with some key Restorative Practice Representatives & a short presentation about their role in school

Are you concerned about how to get the best out of your pupil premium children?

We are offering a twilight aimed at teachers in their first, second or third year of teaching.

The session is designed to give less experienced teachers the classroom strategies they will need to drive high aspirations for pupil premium pupils and demonstrate how to get the best out of their disadvantaged pupils.

This twilight session is aimed at NQTs and RQTs.

SEN Package - The role of a SENCO


The Course:

Our programme covers six half day sessions and will be delivered by our Specialist Leaders of Education who have a wealth of expertise in SEN.


The programme will help you further develop your practice as a committed, responsible and creative professional, capable of critical thinking and practical action and support you in enhancing whole-school provision for pupils who have Special Educational Needs or disabilities.


Who is this for?

Newly appointed SENCOs and those who would like to refresh their knowledge.


How much will it cost?

The cost of the full programme is £350.


Each session will focus on a particular aspect that SENCOs deal with on a regular basis, and will be broken down as follows:


· The Role of a SENCO

· Managing the TA team / quality interventions

· EHCPs (How to write an Educational Health Care Plan)

· Understanding the various SEND needs

· Learning from a special school

· Transition into the SENCO MQ
